We are finally nearing the end of our summer construction projects. We appreciate your patience. Please note the following:
Otis Elevator will be onsite beginning on Monday, September 19.
The elevator modernization is currently expected to take approximately three weeks (no guarantees with this 40-year-old building). Most work will occur in the basement near the boiler and laundry rooms. That said, there will also be significant work taking place near the elevator landings on each floor.
While we will take all possible precautions in regards to safety in the project areas, please exercise caution, especially where crews are working as there may be open elevator doors & shafts, sharp and/or greasy objects, falling debris, etc. Finally, please also refrain from walking (and letting children walk) through the common areas with bare feet.
Vision Security will be onsite in the coming weeks.
The final major facility upgrade that will be completed this year is the replacement of the fire alarm system. The common areas will be retrofitted first, then crews will begin the installation in each condominium. We will notify you once we complete work on the main panel. Please note, we will need access to the inside of your unit for this work. We will notify you in advance of your scheduled upgrade.
MacGray/CSC ServiceWorks will be delivering new Laundry Equipment
New laundry equipment is also on the way. Once installed, we will have four washers and four dryers in the laundry room. (The shipping company dropped the dryers, so we had to reorder them.)
